BACKGROUND
Born with the sorcery ability, Ruin was very early on faced with the decision to make something of his ability or to live a normal, considerably less dangerous life. After thinking it over, he'd chosen to copy his mother, a woman who'd left the sorcery world to raise her children, and live his life peacefully. For the most part, anything Ruin knows about sorcery and curses was passed down to him and his brother ( who later becomes the vessel Choso inhabits ), through their mother from word of mouth. He personally took her lessons with a grain of salt, thinking it would barely make a difference to him as he'd try actively avoiding curses.
As his life progressed, it became increasingly more difficult to avoid such a world he'd been born into, but still put a good effort into pretending that it was possible for him to live a normal life. As an early teenager, he was once screened to attend Jujutsu High due to his father's recommendation, but failed because of his lack of resolve. Not even a full week later, his father goes missing from curse intervention. Once his mother returns him, he and the family move to Tokyo to move on with their life. After a year, Ruin and his brother lose their mother to a mysterious house fire, leaving them to be raised by extended family where they get split up. Where as Ruin ends up being taken in by their mother's sorcerer side of the family, his brother goes to their father's non-sorcerer side of the family. There, Ruin learns more, but not everything, about the world of sorcery and what it entails.
Upon reaching adulthood, Ruin still chooses to stay out of the life that had been all but forced upon him, only really making contributions to handling and exorcising curses when they came across him personally. Even then, such actions were taken against low level curses due to his lack of general experience and dislike of involving himself when he doesn't have to. With higher level curses, he tends to blatantly ignore them and carry on like he doesn't see them, managing to keep his life fairly peaceful until Eden, an unregistered special grade curse, meets and latches on to him. Afterwards, Eden and Ruin are spotted together, word comes out that Ruin is assisting a cursed spirit and he is deemed a curse user and to be executed. It is also said that the death of his parents were caused by his hands along and he had a helping hand in his brother becoming a vessel for the Cursed Womb: Death Painting known as Choso.
VERSES
FAILED RESOLVE. Teenage. Forcibly and secretly sent out to Tokyo, Ruin was tested by TMMT to see where he stood only to get rejected due to his lack of drive. Before he's sent back home, he was allowed to meet some of the students that had been enrolled and told that if he ever change his mind, he'd happily take him in. The time spent back home is short, quickly ending with his family officially moving to Tokyo after his father's mysterious disappearance. Not even a full year later, Ruin and his brother lose their mother to a house fire, landing Ruin in the care of his mother's side of the family and separated from his brother.IRRATIONAL CHANGE. Adult. Having moved on from his fairly tragic past, Ruin began to live his life from the ground up, living a normal life outside of the sorcery world. He ended up becoming a famous photographer, landing him multiple jobs on various locations and allowed him to travel the world. During his travels, he ended up encountering Eden, instantly being stuck with them and even returns home with said curse. Still mostly living as a photographer, it's due to Eden that he has anything to with sorcery world.

BACKGROUND
Utako came from nothing, essentially raising and even naming herself, as the orphanage she came from had very little interest in her well being. Such a place only kept her out of necessity, only showing interest in her after she came into her ability, then held in the orphanage against her will to work as the orphanage's healer despite still being a child herself. Although not particularly abusive, her relationship with the place and the people in it quickly became warped, resulting in her wish to be saved from a place she couldn't successfully run away from. Upon reaching 17, Utako's wish was granted, being kidnapped from the only place she knew only to go from being used by the people she'd known all her life to people she didn't know. Her escape from these people came with the help of Haru, the leader of a gang, Kao Nashi, made up entirely of orphans of varying ages. Grateful to Haru, Utako agreed to stay with him and the gang, promising to heal their sick and injured in exchange for room and board. BACKGROUND
The oldest of six total, Stix grew up in a family where everyone fought for the attention and favor of their parents. As the oldest of his siblings, Stix was not only often treated as the experimental and trial child, but he as made to preform all the general duties of a first immigrant child. Along with this, he happened to be the first sorcerer child in a non-sorcerer house with the rest of his siblings following suit. The older Stix got, the more strict his parents became, not just on him, but his four brothers and one sister, as well, becoming to strict that for two years, none of them were even allowed to leave the house, both out of fear of what they could do ( as no one in the house explored too much of sorcery and what it was ), and the general fear of being known as the freak parents with freak children. After that, as if his parents couldn't keep up with six children, they began to neglect them all, allowing each and every child to do as they pleased so long as the peace within the house wasn't disrupted.Upon turning 13 ( and the youngest being 8 at the time), his parents had fully committed to their belief of them having too many kids, announcing to the family that only one of the kids could and would receive their love and affection. This would cause the siblings to fight amongst themselves when they saw fit. Such fights would soon result in the death of one of the youngest siblings, causing their parents to further incite the violence committed against once another, eventually fully encouraging sibling to murder sibling in hope of winning the favor of their parents. During this time, Stix and his siblings were still fully expected to not only go to school, but also fully commit to their home and social duties without alerting anyone outside of their home of what was happening. Having very little interest in the war within his home, Stix tended to stay out of it, only teaming up with a sibling when asked to, not necessarily actively choosing to harm any of them unless attacked first. Such an in-home issues continued for three years, only ending when Stix was 16, when he killed his last living sibling, thereby winning his parents favor without doing too much to actually earn it.During nearly most of the in-home war, Stix only had one source of proper stability, a girl he'd begun dating not too long after he meeting her. Despite being terrible towards him, Stix depended on her more than he should have, so much so that he became attached to her to an unhealthy degree, going as far as telling her that she wasn't allowed to leave him. As she thought that he wasn't serious by it or didn't mean any hard ( having been completely unaware of any and everything that was happening inside his home at the time ), she tried breaking up with him on their three year anniversary. BACKGROUND
Kei, once named Geibu, is one of few survivors of the Fukushū clan. She, along with four other people in her clan were brought into the village of Kumogakure to be naturalized and eventually assimilated into the village. Before this, Kei was known as the outcast of her clan, often referred to as ‘cursed,’ ‘possessed,’ ‘a demon,’ and other dehumanizing things due to her being born with CIPA (Congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis). Her CIPA inevitably distanced her from the people of her clan, being treated harshly, but carefully as if to not break her, a strange occurrence because of the inherent brutal nature of the people of her clan. It was only her brother who treated her like an actual person, seeing her past her disorder whereas everyone else around them feared her. In her youth, Geibu spent most of her time sitting in a cage, often mocked by the people of her clan when her brother wasn’t around. She wasn’t allowed to interact with people outside her immediate family, more times than not being subjected to simply watching other people go by their lives without actually being involved. This, however, changed after a group of Kumogakure nin contributed to the decimation of her clan and brought her, along with four other children back to their village to restart their lives.Now stripped of her given name, surname, and dignity, Kei was tested to see if she was capable of becoming a Kumogakure ninja when she was six. It was then that her condition was rediscovered, proving to be more a problem than originally anticipated when she sparred with various jounin in order to test her. Her condition paired with her lack of proper combat knowledge disqualified her from ever becoming a ninja. That, however, wasn’t the end of her story, oftentimes proceeding to go behind people’s backs to study and train, stealing people’s books and such in her youth to learn more. For a few years, Kei bounced between living the life of a civilian and teaching herself to become a ninja. Her reckless behavior more times than not got her in trouble with people in the hospitals, active nin, and the Raikage. This, however, never seemed to stop her from trying to prove that she, too, could become a ninja, usually claiming that all she needed was someone to teach her. Unknown to anyone else, this was Kei’s way of attempting to become great like her deceased brother, foolishly thinking that being a ninja would be what he wanted from her. Her antics spiraled so out of control that she even threatened to run away from the village at the age of 13 if she couldn’t prove herself useful again.Having finally forced her way into being recognized for her power, Kei was finally assigned someone to properly teach her the ins and outs of the life of a shinobi. Pleased with this, Kei quickly proved how useful and powerful she was, constantly proving that she could be more than useful to the village. Now between training with someone and still studying on her own, she constantly proved to have enough knowledge and know-how as a chunin, skipping genin status completely. Despite this, Kei was never registered as a proper nin, shortly after choosing to hone her skills in the direction of a spy. With this new development, Kei became increasingly more curious of not only herself, but her brother, their past, and began to question what happened to her family. She also began to take more care of herself, now looking more seriously into her disorder, constantly searching for ways to make herself better, or to at least feel something for a change. By the age of 15, Kei became more desperate to be seen as a person outside of the village, always unable to shake the cloud she cast by choosing a line of work that would one day inevitably kill her, most likely because of her disorder. Now, she often found herself outside of the village than inside, sending herself on spying mission after spying mission, using that as an excuse to not only avoid the people who worry about her so much, but also to search for more information on her condition and where she came from.For years, Kei drifted in and out of the village on different missions, most of them taking up months upon months of her life. With her disconnection from her clan, the inability to remember her roots, and her dislike over how she always felt fragile while she was in Kumogakure, she began to easily create different versions of herself. With this skill, she began to progressively lose who she was as a person, always sifting from personality to personality until she grinded her core personality into putty. As Kei progressed with becoming different people for different situations, she became less cautious concerning what would happen to her, becoming more self destructive during her free time between missions and pursuing more information. She became increasingly more accident prone, only managing to keep herself well enough to never be taken off tasks. As she neared the age of 20, Kei found around half the answers she was looking for, although it came with the cost of losing who she had become completely. For a few months, she had taken it upon herself to stop taking missions while she stopped to re-examine who she was and what she wanted. She spent this time traveling for herself, answering no one and working on her own schedule to reform some general basis of who she would turn out to be. Kei continued to live the rest of her short life searching for herself, dying days before the Fourth War via assissination.

From a young age, Tadashi came to learn and accept that becoming a proper nin wasn't for him, only enrolled in Kirigakure's academy because it was the social norm at the time. Despite this, he soon dropped out of the school not too long after starting. He'd naturally experienced the expected shunning for such a decision, not only earning it for himself, but tainting his father's name and credibility in the process, such an issue that arose more so throughout the Homura clan than the village. In a way to appease the harsh judgment of his clan, Tadashi began extending his abilities to the elder and clan leader of the time, resulting in him working under the head of the Homura clan more than anything. He'd spend his time completing whatever it was they wanted from him, usually anything ranging from trivial, simple tasks, to accompanying the clan head / elders when they leave the village, to disposing a body or something else fairly morally questionable for a child. Ryouta’s continued existence happened by mere chance, born to a drifter Uchiha mother and an unnamed father, he and his family spent more time traveling the world than settling in one place. As a child, Ryouta was spoiled with everything he had ever wanted, getting any and everything he ever wanted ( with the exception of knowledge of his parents roots ). Despite living a life fairly disconnected from shinobi society, Ryouta was still taught basic ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu for the case of emergency, lest he not know how to protect himself. Even with the little lessons, he almost never needed to exercise his knowledge on the matters outside of learning with his parents.Not too soon after turning nine, his perfect seeming life took a turn for the worst, one day leaving his home to visit the shops of the small town they stopped to stay in only to come back home to a slaughtered family with no culprit. Such a day, due to the shock of seeing his parents dead on the floor, awoken the Sharingan ( three tomoe, instantaneously ) he never knew he had. In the same day, with no knowledge on why, he's forced to uphold a promise to his now deceased mother and take her eyes, sealing them away in a scroll for safe keeping. Afterwards, Ryouta blocks out the memory of desecrating the dead and leaves the town in fear of being killed as well. Now on the run, he begins learning of all the things he's been sheltered from, experiencing minor heartbreak over minor heartbreak over each unforeseen tragedy other people faced that he knew nothing about.He spends years running and surviving, disappearing from one place to find another after being taken advantage of or having his trust betrayed. Time and time again, Ryouta finds a place to settle, somehow managing to only flit from one person who ends up wanting to use him for something, to another.
It's not until after he turns thirteen that he manages to find someone reliable to raise him — a harmless seeming middle aged man by the name of Hiraku. Having learned his lesson on how much to share, Ryouta keeps himself fairly closed off the Hiraku in feeble attempts to keep from being betrayed again. After some time, Hiraku manages to talk Ryouta into training himself more for the sake of protection to avoid a never ending of what-ifs. It's then that Ryouta learns that Hiraku isn't some typical citizen, but a retired shinobi. Days turn into months and Ryouta becomes a fairly established shinobi without the acting title or obligation of serving any village. A year passes and Ryouta completely bonds with Hiraku, nearly thinking of him as a father only to have his trust and heart broken over Hiraku attempting to take his eyes to wear them himself. Realizing he's been lied to and used once again, Ryouta develops Mangekyō Sharingan as he takes Hiraku's life to save his own.Now on the run again, Ryouta vows to never let anyone get the better of him again, opting to being left on his own with no one to take care of him. He once again returns to his traveller roots, drifting from nation to nation, only never entering ( or even finding ) any hidden villages. Not too long after turning fifteen, he meets Karin ( @peachmuses, exclusively ) and eventually begins traveling with her. The two of them then engage in an on again / off again travel partner situation for years. Abandoned by their parents as a child Eden was left to be raised by their older sister, often times causing extra and unnecessary onto her already stressful life. Usually, Eden would return home suffering from verbal or physical abuses from the people who surrounded them, more times than not found bleeding somewhere. Around the time they were seven, Eden lost their sister due to her trying to protect Eden from other people, only resulting in her death and soon leading to Eden being driving out of their original hometown. Due to their general aversion of knowing and getting to know people, Eden never stayed in one place for too long, going from place to place for years, often mooching off of other people's hard work until they were kicked out and forced to find another place to stay. By the time they were ten, they found themself choosing to remain out and away from people instead of living with them.The longer Eden remained away from people, the more they began to dislike the way they were treated, having ample time to think about it. Over time, the solitude began to drive Eden out of their mind, causing them to become more open towards harming people that wished them harm, actively doing exactly that when encountered with people they didn't necessarily like. Eventually, Eden found theirself cursed by Stylianos, resulting in them not only gaining the ability to mend and meld bones, no matter if the bones were their own or belonged to another, but also slowing down their aging and even making it harder to kill them. Instead of using their newfound ability to be helpful in any way, they began using it to mend random animal bones to their body, using them as another way to further protect theirself from people and animals alike. Having been around for as long as the Earth's moon, Moon is not beyond separating himself from his home, prone to visiting various planets and even universes. Usually, this results in him overstaying his welcome and eventually having to leave despite his innate harmlessness.Moon doesn't gain the name Meyong until after he once again crashes on Earth ( South Korea, at that ) after attempting to visit Venus. After being knocked off-course and rather violently landing on Earth, Moon loses most of his memories, one of which being his original goal. Not too long after the incident, Moon is found by a young boy, Jeong, and Moon quickly shapeshiffts to mostly match the image of the boy. With Jeyong's help, Moon is brought back to the boy's home where he's quickly mistaken as an orphan and sent away. Two days later, Moon is adopted by the neighbors of Jeong, quickly named Meyong and dressed as a proper member of the Moon ( 문 ) family.As to not raise suspicions of this family, Moon mirrored the kids around him to age alongside them, consequently sapping his own energy with each human-like growth spurt and leaving him in a weakened state for a while. Aside from this, Moon was raised with a nice upbringing with the exception of how his adoptive Father's mother would treat him, often leaving him in a sorry state to recover on his own. Upon reaching his 'teenage years', Moon's relationship with Jeong had progressed to the point of various types of abuse, becoming so bad that Moon called the cops on Jeong and got him arrested when he was 17. Shortly after, Moon fled to Japan without warning, leaving his family and settling for his safety.Six years later, Jeong is out of prison and hunts Moon down, threatening not only Moon, but also Moon's boyfriend at the time. The incident ends with Jeong taking Moon back to South Korea, although he's only subjected to Jeong's abuse for a month before Jeong is killed. Afterwards, Moon returns home to his parents, where his family was uprooted and moved to another country to follow job opportunities for his parents, and consequently him. Despite knowing that Earth is not where he belongs, Moon still chooses to stay with his found family.

In his youth, Nikephoros lived as a minority in his community, often times only finding care and support inside his house. Almost any time he found a reason to be outside, Nikephoros inevitably found himself being abused by those around him, generally picked on for being neither completely human nor completely demon. No matter which side he tried to appeal to, Nikephoros was generally rejected by both sides, eventually leading to him accepting the abuses committed against him. This, to some degree, caused a stunt in his growth, mentally, physically, and ability-wise, resulting in a slowed progress of everything he was and was supposed to be for years. It wasn't until Nikephoros was 14 and nearly killed by Ore ( @slimemace's oc ), did Nikephoros finally snap and fight back for the first time in years. This fight ended with Ore choosing to not only let Nikephoros live, but Ore's decision to take Nikephoros in ( although it was much more with the sentiment of him being seen more like a pet than a person ). Over time with Ore, Nikephoros came to not only learn a great many things, but he also began to grow past the trauma-induced stunting he'd run into years ago, randomly experiencing growth spurts in different ways. With Ore, Nikephoros began getting revenge over those who'd harmed him until they were all dead. Now free from the shackles of his past, Nikephoros lives as he pleases, something which eventually led to him being cursed by Stylianos.

A year later, not too longer after Kirigakure's failed attempt at making Nohara Rin the jinchuriki of Isobu, Nikephoros was made Isobu's jinchuruki. Over time, he not only adjusted to being a jinchuriki, but formed a fairly decent relationship with Isobu. Now kept under a closer watch and put to a higher regard, Nikephoros joined the hunter-nin division of the ANBU. While both on and off duty, Nikephoros also across Stylianos whenever his life began to go badly, although he never seemed to remember these encounters, only becoming vaguely aware of them after Stylianos cursed him in his twenties. Now cursed, Nikephoros' abilities had grown past their original scope, putting him in better sync with himself and Isobu, but also completely stopped his aging process, permanently leaving him at the physical age of 22. Once the Fifth Mizukage begins changing the nature of Kirigakure, Nikephoros leaves the ANBU but carries on with his life as a Kirinin. He eventually comes to lose possession of Isobu a month before the Akatsuki seizes them, but survives the process. Afterwards, he retires as a nin and spends his time traveling, eventually beginning to understand why someone would want to leave Kirigakure.KIMYAB. KNY verse. Nikephoros was born to a woman who'd been attacked and almost turned into a demon mere moments before birthing him. Unfortunately, the demonification of his mother failed as her body was already under too much stress from her pregnancy, resulting in her inevitable death upon Nikephoros' birth. Nikephoros, also affected by the demonification process, although not completely turned into a demon, was turned half demon / half human. As a result of this, Nikephoros, to some degree, grew at a human's pace, although his growth spurts aligned with that of a demon manipulating it's shape. He can consume human food, people, and demons with little to no consequences. Due to his half-human side, Nikephoros is a demon capable of travelling through the daytime so long as he avoids being touched by direct sunlight. BACKGROUND
Coming from a rapidly declining in power family, Kid was greeted with high hopes since birth. Unfortunately, upon learning that Kid would be born a twin, hopes were lowered, but not completely ruined. Even after Kid and their brother, Fiik, were born, there were still hopes that the two of them could be the Oh family's well needed powerful heirs. As if to spite the Oh family, Kid was born disabled and Fiik was born with no abilities. Despite this, the Oh family held out hope for Kid, taking them and raising them away from their brother, separating them to focus on raising Kid up to their standards. Along with raising Kid away from their brother, Kid was often coddled and over-watched ( where as Fiik was left to be severely neglected ), also often times treated and raised as a girl by their own parents because they wanted a daughter, not two sons. It is because of them that Kid got their alias, repeatedly being called outside of their name to the extent of having a questionable relationship with their own name.Home raising aside, Kid was often coddled, resulting in them being often found with someone or multiple people. For a large portion of their life, Kid was treated as if they couldn't and shouldn't do anything on their own, told to focus on their abilities and allowed very little personal freedom. When Kid and Fiik were 10, Fiik disappeared from the Oh household, something left unmentioned through the family, much less to Kid, who'd last seen him when they were 4. Months later, Kid's learned that Fiik had died. Even after the death of their brother, Kid's home life didn't get better, left numb to everything happening around them.Upon reaching high school Kid's entire life was shifted, having it flipped on it's nose as nearly everything they knew about people was left to relearn in their own time. For the most part, Kid easily coasted through their schooling, being an excellent student. Regardless of how well Kid was doing in school, they suddenly left the school in the middle of their second year, vanishing from society for a while. One year after leaving the school, Kid was found out to be living on their own after killing off what was left of their family.

Yannik was never allowed to be a normal person, being chosen to be used as a vessel to carry the formless god, Stylianos, while their mother was still pregnant with them. Upon Yannik's birth, they wound up killing and absorbing their mother through Stylianos' will, doing the same to their father mere moments later and causing Yannik to instantly age mentally and physically five years. Now orphaned and left to their own devices, Yannik spent most of their youth traveling in search of a new place to live with Stylianos' guidance. They would often pass through whatever town they could find, mostly doing so for Stylianos' benefit, more times than not going around absorbing more people so Yannik could age and grow more rapidly, leaving Yannik to miss out on an entire childhood and nearly instantly be thrown into early adulthood on Stylianos' whim.Having spent roughly a month existing now ( although mostly being guided and led by Stylianos ), Yannik is left to their own devices more times than not. They chose to carry on with the drifter lifestyle, now trying to find out who they are and what they want to be without Stylianos' influence. Despite technically being very young, Yannik has the mental age of a young adult due to Stylianos absorbing people to grow to suit his own wants.

After being saved by a demon slayer, Yannik eventually comes in contact with the Demon Slayer Corps again and manages to secure theirself a job in helping around Wistera Havens. Despite generally living a relatively lax life, whenever they leave one of the havens, they're plagued with a demon by the name of Stylianos, who seems to have little interest in harming him, but tends to exist within their shadows and dreams.KIMYAB. DEMON. KNY verse. Stylianos, a demon of upwards of 500 years, is seemingly harmless, generally more interested in harming a person mentally than physically. He is able to travel through peoples shadows, usually hiding within people's shadows to move during the day to avoid the sunlight. He also possesses the ability to invade the human mind, more than capable of manipulating memory and thoughts as he so pleases. He's more prone to manipulate a person until they commit suicide and he feasts on their body, but he is also known to harm and eat humans without invading their mind.JJKAI. JJK verse. Yannik and Stylianos were grade 1 sorcerers and twin brothers. Stylianos, as a teenager, went off the deep end and began helping curses. Once Yannik found out what his brother was doing, the two of them fought, resulting in Stylianos' death. Before Stylianos died, both brothers wound up cursing one another, forcing Stylianos to be under Yannik's ( who'd gone up to being a special grade sorcerer upon his brother's death ) control upon Stylianos' death and rebirth as a special grade curse. In order to avoid execution, Yannik quickly threw together a story about what happened, even going as far as spending rumors of the false story they'd cooked up before going under the radar. After a few years passed, Yannik returns to the sorcerer scene, but only helping out when they're absolutely needed, much preferring to stay out of the world they was raised in as much as they possibly could. It is because of Stylianos that Yannik cannot die of old age, resulting in them living for generations to come. As a way to kill time, Stylianos occasionally 'shows face,' taking over Yannik's body and doing whatever it is that he pleases, more times than not going around and cursing people he considers interesting. When Stylianos is resting, Yannik usually finds some place to lay low, sometimes choosing to actually interact with people without Stylianos' help.
